The achievements of John Basilone, Daniel J. Daly, John A. Lejeune and Lewis B. Puller will be immortalized on postage stamps next year.

The faces on the "Distinguished Marines" stamp series include Gunnery Sgt. John Basilone; Sgt. Daniel Daly; Lt. Gen. John Lejeune (Camp Lejeune's namesake), and Lt. Gen. Lewis "Chesty" Puller (if you don't know who Chesty is, find any Marine and just ask.

They are part of the Marine Corps legacy, and their images will be stamped into postal history when the set is released in May 2005. If you want to know more about these amazing heroes, go here.
